Giles was the best instructor I could've had, and was the sole reason I passed first time. He was always incredibly patient with me, and knew all of the knowledge that allowed me to learn at the right pace and know everything I needed for my test. He was willing enough to let me drive all the way to Portsmouth with him, which is rare for an instructor and made me feel like I wasn't forced to try to get a booking from somewhere closer. Plus, he's an all-around friendly, charismatic guy with an amazing music taste (if you like rock, you'll get along with him easily). Thank you Giles, you are a genuinely lovely person and I couldn't ask for a better person to spend the past few months with learning to drive.

Giles is by far the best instructor someone could wish for. No matter what your experience is with driving he will always be able to help you with whatever you’re struggling with and give you praise for things you do correctly. He’s extremely friendly, easygoing and all around a great person who feels more like a mate rather than just an instructor, I couldn’t have passed without him and his motivation.
To anyone who wants to start driving or take lessons to refresh themselves I would highly recommend Giles, you will have an amazing time driving.

I started my driving experience incredibly anxious Giles took his time and was very patient. I’ve failed a few times due to nerves but he never let me give up on driving - passed today and if it wasn’t for him and his constant support I would not have got here!

Giles is an absolute legend. 1 million percent would recommend as a driving instructor. He’s the friendliest, most patient, funniest driving instructor I’ve ever had. I’ve had three driving instructors while learning to drive and I’m so glad I found Giles in the end. I was very anxious when it came to parking as I had previously failed a test prior having lessons with Giles, and he was the absolute best at going through everything with me, making sure I felt confident on the roads, and just a lovely person to talk to. Honestly I don’t know where to start with my review of Giles. I had the best possible experience learning how to drive with him and I almost wish I didn’t pass so I could have more lessons. He always made me feel super at ease whenever I was driving with him, we would talk about games and music which was nice and got me used to having other people around for when I would pass. Giles is one of the nicest and most patient men I have had the pleasure of meeting and our lessons always felt like a catchup with a mate with the massive bonus of learning how to drive safely. That’s the thing too, he won’t just teach you how to pass your test. Giles teaches you how to drive safely for the rest of your life. Before Giles I’d had a couple lessons that weren’t great but I started with him shortly after and my journey was a breeze up until my first test. Which I passed with only two minors. I can say with absolute certainty that it’s all because of Giles and how much he believed in me and made me believe in myself. If you are considering booking with Giles I would tell you absolutely go for it, he’s a lovely bloke and I’m so thankful to have passed my test with him! Also he’s got great taste in music.

Giles taught my son and he was absolutely brilliant. His motto of “not only teaching you how to pass but how to drive safely for the rest of your life” is spot on. My son passed and 2 weeks down the line told me he misses his lessons with Giles! I think that tells you all you need to know about him. Already recommended to another 2 people. Thank you Giles.

Giles is an elite driving instructor. He is a genuine and down to earth instructor, easy to talk to and have a laugh with. Great communication with me, always keeping me aware of what I need to know and ensuring I am happy with my understanding of everything.

Passed today! Couldn’t have had a better driving instructor. It’s been a long and good journey. Giles answered all questions I had and was so patient with me from start to finish. He knows the importance of learners being comfortable and does his best to make you feel comfortable, he's so down to earth and it’s brilliant.
